My Personal Responsibility

To define personal responsibility a person will have to break the word apart. Webster defines personal as relating to an individual or an individual's character, conduct, motives, or private affairs often in an offensive manner and responsibility as moral, legal, or mental accountability. I define personal responsibility as when a person knows he or she is in the wrong and admits it. People have to define personal responsibility on their own and must always up hold their beliefs and stand their ground.
Where I use personal responsibility the most is during football, most of my teammates blame the offence of linemen because they do not believe they are in the wrong. In football I make mistakes like everyone else because I am not perfect. When I make a mistake I believe it best for me to say I was the one who messed up so my coach can help me fix what I did wrong. The most common play I get blamed for is missing a block or letting a person go. The minute a play gets stop in the back field everybody looks at the line.
The blaming begins after the play in the huddle the running back targets me saying it is my fault but if he would have looked he would have seen that the defenses end was ten feet away from me. I believe that if a running back looks and think about what they should do the play will not get stop in the backfield. If a play gets stopped and the person was on my side of the line I take blame unless the defense was blitzing then I would try my best to slow the defense down.  I will take blame when it is my fault directly no other time.

Throughout history inventions

All throughout history people have had the urge to go where no man has gone before. One of the more famous explores and one that almost everyone in the United States knows about is the voyage of Christopher Columbus. People has always just wanted to know more about something so they have did experiments and asked for funds to help them reach their goals. When it comes to Christopher Columbus he wanted a faster route to western Indies, but instead landed in North American. In history if people wanted something done they would calculate the risk and decide if the fame or discovery was worth it.

People have devoted themselves to a life of discovery and exploration because some want the fame and others have the thirst for knowledge and want the opportunity to help the people of world. Ernest Alexanderson, Andrew Alford, and Luis Alvearez these invertors all help with some form of communication which I believed they did their inventions for the people. While many people discoverers help mankind some do it to be famous, such as Ferdinand Magellan, Christopher Columbus, and Marco Polo these people explored for their names to be remembered in history. If a discoverer is big enough to help the advancement of mankind the world will know about it.

When people devote their life to discovery and exploration they have to sometime sacrifice friends, family and a social life. In many of the first voyages were made by sail boat so explores would be out on the sea for months if not years. Since many of the ships were made from wood if there was a bad enough storm, the ship would be destroyed. When people are on the brink of a new invention they could go crazy, and only focus on that invention. When people think of scientist and inventors they think of a person with crazy hair cause they would spend endless amount of days on their inventions.
